Jacoby Jones, who holds the record for the longest touchdown in Super Bowl history, has passed away at the age of 40. A Super Bowl champion with the Baltimore Ravens, Jones was instrumental in Baltimore’s “Mile High Miracle” during a playoff game in Denver in January 2013.

Jones’ 108-yard kickoff return in 2013 stands as the longest touchdown in Super Bowl history.

Jones played from 2007 to 2015 for the Houston Texans, Baltimore Ravens, San Diego Chargers, and Pittsburgh Steelers. During the Ravens’ latest Super Bowl championship season, he delivered several pivotal performances.

Jones played a pivotal role in Baltimore’s “Mile High Miracle” during a playoff game against Denver in January 2013. With just 31 seconds left in the fourth quarter, he caught a 70-yard touchdown pass to tie the game. The Ravens ultimately triumphed in double overtime.
